Lion in the Church

I like news stories that are kind of like dreams I might have. Like the story about the lion, zookeeper and other lucky (or unlucky) people trapped in a Baptist church together during Hurricane Ike. They had to swim, so the lion was too busy to eat anyone. I think I like this image because it's frequently how I feel. There's a woman eating lion inside my head but the hurricane outside is even deadlier and if I just keep the lion busy (like with writing) and keep moving I won't be swept away by the hurricane. But it's a delicate balance.
