It's coming along...

Well, writing this much does beat back the internal editor. Since I've been doing the contest, I've been writing straight out. No editing, hardly any plotting. I figure it will require heavy editing before being read by anyone, but at least I'll have it down. Since it's a contemporary adult novel, I'm able to use tiny things from my own life in the novel which has made the writing go much faster. This has pleased me very much, it seems to ring true to me.
